I have spent the last few days in front of the heat pump! Tassie might be a pretty place, but in winter it can be very damp and cold.
I have decided to work on my Quiltaid quilt for a while. Below is the centre block I have pieced and prepared for applique. I am going to blanket stitch the edges. I can needle-turn applique, but there are too many pieces, so have decided to use my favourite method. (some of my friends call me the Blanket-Stitch Queen! )

I still have another floral-applique border, sashings, corner blocks and corner baskets to do.
I'm sure I will finish it eventually!!

Whatever gets the quilt done is okay. I think buttonhole stitch will give it a romantic cottage look.
