We had a wonderful family Christmas in our new house. It felt very special being together and we all loved the slower start to the morning.
My brother-in-law, John and his wife Leanne and their boys, Matt and Luke came for lunch, along with Betty, Mum and John. We had a traditional meal- prawn cocktails then ham, turkey, chicken, beef, vegies, cauliflower cheese etc, followed by plum pudding, pavlova, chocolate ripple cake, trifle and lots of special chocolate treats.
In the afternoon my sister Fiona, Nathan and their girls Issi and Ruby came, along with my other sister-in-law Karen, Alan and their guys Clinton and Erin and Halana.
So we had a house full all day and it was wonderful. The house is great for entertaining and the weather could not have been better...Lots of food, afternoon naps, great family and just a little alcohol sitting in the sun on our amazing deck...
Lunch was a real family effort. Alex did an amazing job decorating the table and we all contributed with cooking, decorating, setting up and then of course cleaning up at the end....
And when all went home I enjoyed the best soak and relax in our huge egg shaped bath!!
Life cant get any better than this....

My friend Leanne gave me a Tilda book and some very cool fabric called Gypsy Girl. Leanne told me its time I starting obsessing over Tilda products, I think she is right...
