We had a lovely family meal tonight at The Jailhouse Grill to celebrate our oldest daughter, Alex successfully finding employment after 7 months. At times it has been very stressful for Al and heart destroying. Its horrible standing by watching a very promising and talented young lady be turned away from so many jobs, jobs that you know she is more than capable of doing. But on Monday she starts working for the Commonwealth Bank. We are so proud of her and very happy she has found employment.
Three more Around the World blocks completed. These are so much fun to do.
I have been a little unsettled at night lately. This week has been a very busy first week back to school and when I am busy and don't have very much stitching time I tend to flit from one project to the next finding it hard to stick to anything. Consequently I have started lots of new projects....
Threads and linen are ready to begin Leanne Beasley's - Sew Laugh Love.
Block 4 is progressing slowly.
And finally, any number of Birdhouse stitcheries traced and ready to be stitched.
Hopefully I can stick to one project next week and not start more new ones....

Congrats to your daughter! Love the pic of you and your S.O. (significant other)
Love your Great Granny blocks! Mine just needs the border so I will hopefully get that done this weekend. Did you put pics on the Granny Flickr group? Love that little quilt with all the embroidery! I'm a "flitter" too. I try to do better but then I see something I want to try and it's all over. Have a wonderful weekend!
Cheery wave!

Well done to Alex; I'm sure there are sighs of relief all round. What a good reason to celebrate, Cathy; the photos are lovely. So much stitching, too; you'll be a busy girl when you can concentrate!
