Oh Catherine, i too did "loads" of cross stitich and tapestry ( I used to stitch the store samples for "Lets Be Crafty" in Launceston...many years ago!!!)....my own home still adorns these wonders..........then i discovered quilting, enough said, i was addicted from that first quilt!!! Hugs xxx
My other passion is Cross Stitch Samplers. I don't Cross Stitch very much these days but here are a couple of Samplers I worked a few years ago.

OMG!! The work in that sampler!! Must have taken AGES!! I used to do alot of X-stitch, but found it too time consuming!!

Beautiful samplers - so much work. Before quilting, I did a lot of cross-stitch too. Still do a bit from time to time.
