Some of you may remember a while ago I asked for your opinion about which colour borders to apply to this quilt. Well here it is respendant with its brown and red borders. Red was the most popular colour choice. I'm really pleased with the overall effect, what do you think??
Here is a Leanne Beasley stitchery I have been working on lately. It was fun to do.....reminded of doing Cross Stitch and Samplers. Samplers are one of my other obsessions, not that I have worked one for a while. I think there may be 1 or 2 unfinished in the cupboard somewhere....

Your finished quilt is wonderful, I'm so glad I told you to go with red, lol! Stitchery is too cute and yes it's like a sampler. In fact I've got 2 samplers I cross-stitched in the late 1980's hanging framed in my kitchen!
I just love that Xmas Quilt! The star in star (or whateva it is called) effect looks fantastic!

Looks really good I like all the colours together you did a good job as my G/daughter would say.
The sampler is something I would enjoy doing, if I wasn't already covered up with projects. Maybe a someday project...
