A Week at Beautiful Bridport

We are all home from a very relaxing and restful week at Bridport. This is the 3rd year that a group of us have shared some of our summer holiday together. The group started at my previous teaching school. A few of us taught together and also had children that were friends so we decided it would be lovely to holiday together. The group has grown to include our families and other friends and each year we spend a great week at the beach. This year we shared our holiday with about 40 people.
The view from the Living Area Balcony....

The Beach where we spent most mornings....

A relaxing swim......

The ladies supervising....
(check out the teacher hats!!)

The mandatory sand fight...

Building Sand Castles.....

And as for craft....very little...
I started stitching a block of Rosalie Quinlan's Little Patchwork Village but apart from that I was too busy playing crib, lazing in the sun, beach walking, reading, chatting, over-indulging, and having the odd snooze.....

It sounds wonderful! We are stuck with El Nino here in Northern California!! Rain, rain and more rain, cold tems, and wishing it was summer. Of course, when its summer, we are wishing it was winter!! Enjoy your holiday with the girls.
Hugs!

Sounds like a fabulous holiday away, Cathy. What fun to go with a group. I have only been to Bridport briefly years ago - must go again (inspired by your photos!)

Nice blog as for me. I'd like to read more concerning this theme. The only thing it would also be great to see on this blog is a few pics of any devices.
