A very social and busy week with little stitching completed. The beginning of the week saw Miss Ruby coming over for a craft time. We made this cute little bird. Rube was very quick to learn stitching and we have also started making a dolly.
It wouldn't be Summer in Tassie without a trip to the Strawberry farm. The girls went and brought me home this delicious punnet. They were so good!
On Saturday Lib, Deb, Leanne, Katharine and I went on a Craft shop hop to Hobart. We had a lovely day and the highlight was definitely going to The Quilted Crow and spending time with Leonie.
While we were in Hobart Leanne and I popped in and visited Jo.
It was great to see her in such great spirits!
Sunday we had breakfast at Sporties with Wendy and Steve, and John and Leanne.
It's so nice to all do things together and as usual heaps of chat, jokes and giggles.
Sunday night was the Australia Day Sky Fire at Royal Park.
Four of us Ravo Chicks took part in the Urban Fire obstacle run. What a hoot!!
And we just had to take part in the "show" food. Dagwood dogs and Fairy floss!
We sat in the freezing cold, had our picnic and watched some amazing fireworks.
Phew! A busy week! One more holiday week and then back to work!

I haven't met you in person but you are certainly looking younger on your blog......must be all the exercising! Sounds like you had a fabulous weekend.
Cathy what a fabulous week you have had. Ruby's little bird is adorable and she did a really good job. Can't beat strawberries at this time of year, we have a glut of blueberries also which have been yummy.So nice to see Jo looking good considering all she is going through.Fun times with your friends, can't beat them.
